Mother of James Foley to speak at The Media School
The mother of James Foley, an American freelance war correspondent who was taken captive in Syria and then executed on video, will speak at The Media School after a screening of the documentary, Jim: The James Foley Story.
The screening and talk are at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Franklin Hall commons. Diane Foley and other representatives of the James. W. Foley Legacy Foundation, which provides training and resources for reporters in conflict zones, will speak.
